In my previous post I talked about "Selling Shovels to Gold Miners". I believe it to be a very important concept for the modern day digital prospectors... we know them as Online Marketers.

There are a couple of things I did not cover yet in that discussion:

1. Why is a marketing platform business one of the best choices you can consider when starting an online work from home business?

     And...

2. Can a marketing platform business stay the course and be a permanent source of income?

As I mentioned in my previous discussion, a marketing platform business will always be an "evergreen market".

What do I mean by this?

As an evergreen tree is green all year long...an evergreen product or service is needed all year also. It's not seasonal, as for example Halloween costumes and decorations. Marketers need their marketing platforms 24/7 all tear long.

Second question - how permanent is a marketing platform business?

Think about this... if a marketer takes the time to learn a system and builds out multiple marketing tools, such as websites, optin pages, autoresponder follow up messages, and marketing funnels,
they will more than likely want to keep all of their hard work, and thus continue their platform subscriptions... right?

So as you build a customer base you will also be building a permanent business structure that will continuously keep on earning you income month after month.
